Our path started not with a dream, but with a tragedy.
Our much-loved mother, our pillar and life force, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Like all families, we sought the new healthcare system, hoping it had treatment promises and a cure. We took their route: numerous chemotherapy cycles, countless medications, and multiple surgeries. We invested everything—emotionally, physically, financially.
But the outcome? Just pain, deterioration, and hopelessness.
She entered hospitals with her own might… and returned home on a stretcher. Her bright eyes became dull. Her vitality ebbed. And yet—even in her most deteriorated state—the physicians indicated another procedure, another therapy. When we mustered the courage to inquire, “What will her situation be after?”—we were met with hopeless, empty responses.
It hit us hard: no hope remained in their words, only procedure following procedure.
We took her home, broken, exhausted, defeated. And in a few days… we lost her.
That wasn't a loss on a personal scale. That was an alarm call.
We were helpless. Furious. Hollow.
Not because we lost her, but because we understood just how blind our trust had been.
