Psoriasis is considered a chronic autoimmune skin disorder. In Ayurveda, it is associated with दूषित रक्तपित्त (impure blood caused by aggravated Pitta) and an imbalance of Kapha and Vata doshas. The treatment focuses on eliminating toxins and purifying the blood through Panchakarma therapies. The patient underwent Vaman, Virechan, Basti, Shirovirechan, and Rakta Mokshan (bloodletting) using the Siravedha technique. Alongside these procedures, Ayurvedic disease-modifying medicines were prescribed to restore dosha balance and promote healthy skin. Visible improvement in the patient's skin was observed in approximately six weeks.
